The Charity Auction
A highlight of the evening will be an auction of wine, food and related items, for the benefit of the Catie Hoch Foundation, funding research at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center and providing activities for children with neuroblastoma, the third most common form of pediatric cancer. The foundation aims to “give kids a break from cancer” by helping them enjoy their good days. The auction will be led by the notable Ann Colgin.

Barrel Maker to the Stars and the Burghound
A rare perspective on Burgundy for four people: Spend three nights at the guest house of François Frères, Burgundy’s most famous barrel-making facility. Enjoy a tour of the tonnelerie and lunch with General Manager Max Gigadet. The François guest house stay was arranged by Jean and Noëlle François, Jim Clendenen and Mel Knox. Jim and Morgan Clendenen are including two fine 5-liter bottles from Au Bon Climat: Isabelle Pinot Noir 2000 and Ici-Las Bas Oregon Pinot Noir 1998.
Additionally, you will gain entry to Burgundy’s most difficult to enter cellars by spending a day tasting with Allen Meadows, aka, The Burghound. This tasting must be coordinated with Allen Meadows schedule. Airfare not included.

Cellar Tour and Tasting at Domaine des Comtes Lafon
The Domaine is closed to the public. Tastings are conducted only for direct clients of the estate. This once in a lifetime opportunity will allow you into the cellars of this legendary estate and offer you an extensive tasting of the most recent vintage in barrel and perhaps some older wines. Airfare not included.
Bourgogne Aujourd'hui and Maison Champy
Spend two nights at the spectacular Château de Gilly in the heart of Burgundy. This historic site was build by the Monks of Cîteaux in the 14th and 17th Centuries. Located one kilometer from Clos Vougeot this is a perfect location to enjoy your stay in Burgundy. Also included in the package are two dinners at the hotel, two breakfasts, 5 subscriptions to “Bourgogne Aujourd’hui” and two seats at a professional tasting organized by the magazine. Those tastings will be held on April 7th, June 10th, October 13th, and December 8th.
Additionally, Burgundy’s oldest wine house Maison Champy will host up to six people for a tour and tasting in their historic 18th century cellars. The tasting will be followed by a luncheon inside the Cuve # 17, a former fermentation vat.

Ann Barry Colgin is the owner of Colgin Cellars. Colgin wears multiple hats within the wine industry. She serves as Consultant for Sotheby's Wine Department. As an accomplished auctioneer, she donates her time at a host of charity-related wine auctions including The High Museum Wine Auction in Atlanta, Georgia and The Naples Winter Winefest. In November 2001 she leveled her gavel to raise $438,000 from only 13 lots for Windows of Hope benefiting the families of World Trade Center restaurant workers affected by the September 11th tragedy.
